Rund um das Haus im Sommer- Images from the Kitchen Counter

Already this summer has been too hot for too long with too many fires here in Colorado. I thought I left all these wild fires behind in California. I guess not. While the High Park fire was burning outside, it made for some interesting light streaming in through the blinds. The good news is, after three weeks of burning, it's looking like the fire will be fully contained by this weekend. Let's hope the same is soon true for the rest of Colorado.

A Ventura Kitchen

I thought I would show more images from the non-day day for two reasons. One, the late afternoon light in this kitchen is amazing. And two, I think they help lead into the shots from the second day of the Goleta project and put them into some sort of perspective.
