I have a confession to make. This is why the Broncos lost the Super Bowl- I barbequed ribs for the big game when I should have stuck with what got them there, Super Nachos. All season long it was nachos and touchdowns, nachos and touchdowns. I should have known we had a good thing going. It was all too painfully obvious at the first snap…but let's not ruminate on that.

Bread and Crumbs
The other night Charlene made some amazing olive and roasted tomato bread. I had to get some shots of it when it came out of the oven. In the morning, there were only crumbs.

Guinness and Hops
These are some recent images I created trying out some new equipment. This is how I spent my New Year's Eve. My thanks to Colin at Hops and Berries for being very helpful and walking me through their diverse selection of grains despite it being a very busy day. My next endeavor is definitely to explore the glorious world of home brewing. Graves Beer, look out!

Great Sand Dunes National Park
After visiting Taos, we hit the sand dunes on the way back. One of the amazing things was that all of the foot steps that were there the evening before were gone by the next morning creating a smooth canvas to work from. Which is really what you want when photographing sand, unless you're shooting for some type of inspirational calendar, then maybe you want foot steps. More from the dunes in B&W to come.
